Human Centric Approach
Traditionally, customer needs have been dictated by marketing and sales push, but we find that this approach is not in sync with today’s well-connected and well-informed customers. In our design process, we start with the consumer. We try to understand our current and future customers; their product needs and pain points. For this, we actively initiate research projects with our network of local partners in India and other countries. These partners are consumer facing and play a pivotal role in understanding customers.

Human Centric Approach
At this stage we deploy a qualitative and quantitative research to categorise customer wants and expectations. We use tools such as focus groups, questionnaires, and interviews to understand key customer pain points and needs while trying to accomplish a certain task. The most crucial needs are then prioritised and moved to the solution stage.

Eco Solution Development
Albert Einstein once said, “We are boxed in by the boundary conditions of our thinking.” When we build solutions, we first create a free flow of exchange of ideas and alternative approaches to a problem. We believe it is important to integrate knowledge and experiences of diverse fields to get the optimal solution. And important aspect of solution development and selection is the environmental impact the solution would have in use and manufacturing.

Solution Testing & Feedback
As the design-led solutions are developed, solution prototypes are tested with focus groups. First impression and task based testing results are quantified to understand each prototype experience. The learnings from these findings are fed back to identify constraints and the prototypes are reiterated and tested. The optimal solution is then developed for the larger market.

Continuous Improvement
The success of launched products are then evaluated with an aim to understand the impact of good design in meeting customer needs by collecting data from various sources. Thus, it’s an ongoing process with an aim to improve upon provided solution and to better meet customer needs.
